Kalamazoo Community Foundation invites the community to its Centennial Celebration
KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Kalamazoo Community Foundation (KZCF) invites community members throughout Kalamazoo County to attend its Centennial Celebration on Friday, July 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. The free, family-friendly event is open to the public and will commemorate 100 years of partnership, generosity and community impact across the county.
The celebration will take place at KZCF’s 402 E. Michigan Ave. location and will feature food trucks, games and other fun activities for children and families, along with a special opportunity to help paint KZCF’s custom Love Where You Live street mural. Commissioned by local artist Patrick Hershberger (Go Bonus Saves), the mural marks the organization’s longstanding presence in the community and its enduring commitment to serve as a trusted philanthropic partner to every resident of Kalamazoo County.
Since 1925, KZCF has worked alongside our community’s residents and dedicated partners to build a stronger, more equitable county. Guided by its mission to create a thriving community where people, resources and expertise are mobilized to advance racial, social and economic justice for every resident in Kalamazoo County, KZCF continues to invest in a future where every generation of residents can thrive.
